As a serial entrepreneur, Deepak has seen the changing face of the events industry, and has been an intrinsic part of the overhaul in just a span of 15 years. After pursuing a bachelor’s degree in management from IIPS Indore and masters in management from IES Management College-Mumbai, he started carving a niche for himself in the events industry with his education institute, publications and event IPs. Today, he has successfully diversified business opportunities for flourishing start-ups and created bankable live event IPs across genres.
Deepak co- founded India’s first dedicated Event Management School, EMDI in the year 2002 with Nowshir Engineer and Jimmy Nagdev. He further joined hands with Roshan Abbas to create EMDI Encompass Institute of Radio Management, and followed it up with India’s first sports management school, IISM in partnership with cricketer Nilesh Kulkarni. Divesting his stakes in the education business to Greycells Education Ltd. he went on to exit the business after serving as the MD of the company for three years.
In 2007, he co-founded EVENTFAQS, India’s first and only B2B business portal for the events industry. Over time, EVENTFAQS now owned and run by Vishal Nagdev and Karishma Hundalani has branched out in various IPs and publications in event space, ace Wow awards is the biggest of them. In 2013, he went on to establish Event Capital, India’s leading Live Event Intellectual Property rights company with Laqshya Media Group, India’s leading OOH media company. Over the years, Event Capital has partnered or created properties like Bollywood Music Project ( largest bollywood festival in india), WindMill Festival ( Indias only international kids festival) , Bike Festival of India( with MS Dhoni), India Kids Fashion Week( largest kids fashion event), Edutainment Show ( festival of media and design education) , Big Boy’s Toys ( Mens lifestyle exhibition) under its belt.
In 2016, Deepak co-authored ‘Staged’ – the first-ever book on the Indian live event Industry, profiling the top 15 stalwarts and sub industries in event management.

Over the past 14 years Sahil has focused on spotting high growth potential opportunities within established organizations and building and bringing to the front sustainable business models to deliver profitable value to the company’s overall revenue across new markets, new verticals, new formats and new platforms. Sahil has specialized in leading the launch strategies in the Sales functions of Channels like Star Jalsha, Star Pravah, UTV Action & Comedy Central.
Megha comes with over 13 years of experience in the live events & experiential marketing business where she has worked closely with brands such as Google, Facebook, Autodesk, ICICI Bank to name a few and has created award winning experiences for several of them.
Megha has worked with some of the top names in the business such as Fountainhead MKTG, 70EMG, Geometry Global | Encompass Network, Radio City, Network18 managing brand experiences across the globe. Her last stint was with Laqshya Live Experiences (A Laqshya Media Group Company) where she was a part of the core team that set up the business in 2014 and led key account relationships and special projects in the country.
